Grassroots Effort In Manderson

It only takes a minute of your time to register then vote at http://www.communitiestakeroot.com for Sustainable Homestead Designs in Manderson, South Dakota but it will have a lasting effect for a lifetime for the residents of the White Horse Creek/Manderson Community. Should they win this orchard the folks at Sustainable Homestead Desings will have the opportunity to show the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation that we can have a successful orchard on the Rez. Then work to expand into multiple orchards in our Region. By modeling a great orchard site the hope is to attract more foundation support to install orchards at the Wounded Knee District School, Wounded Knee Housing Playground as well  as in Wakpamni across from the CAP office. From there, maybe this will catch on and be something for our entire reservation at some point.

A minute of your time will go a long way for the kids!
