Greetings! Wakpamni District will be having a district meeting Monday March 21 from 5-8p.m at the Wakpamni CAP Office. The community liaison from the Thunder Valley CDC / BNIM planning team, Julie Two Eagle, will be there to introduce ‘Oyate Omniciye | Oglala Lakota Plan’ (The Peoples Plan) and to answer any questions. Planning Team presents before ONEC

Nick Tilsen & Scott Moore met with members of the Oglala Nation Education Coalition to present information about the planning process and listen to ideas. This meeting took place at the Ramkota Hotel in Rapid City. After the presentation, ONEC unanimously voted in favor of a resolution to join the Oyate Omniciye | Oglala Lakota Plan Consortium in full support of planning activities, including sharing information and providing input as the planning process unfolds. We are happy to welcome ONEC to the ever growing circle of organizations committed to a brighter future!
